AUSRELIEF Winter Warmup

300 meals, one community: AIM supports WinterRelief in Goodooga

Goodooga is a small, remote community in north-western NSW — the kind of place where winter hits hard and support doesn’t always reach as far as it needs to. This year, Allied Integrated was proud to play a part in changing that.

Through WinterRelief, an initiative run by AusRelief, AIM helped support 300 people in Goodooga with food and essential winter relief.

It’s a simple equation with a real impact: people who needed support, and a community of organisations and individuals who showed up to provide it. AusRelief brought the initiative together and got AIM involved, and from there it became a genuinely collective effort — the kind where the people doing the work matter as much as the outcome itself.

For AIM, this kind of involvement sits close to what the Allied Indigenous side of the business is built around — not just delivering services, but building real, ongoing relationships with the communities those services touch. Goodooga is a long way from head office, and that’s exactly the point: initiatives like WinterRelief go where the need is, not just where it’s easy.

None of this happens without the people who put the actual work in — driving, packing, organising, showing up. AIM extends its thanks to everyone involved, and to AusRelief for bringing the team on board in the first place.
