— The Project

Delivering comprehensive infrastructure services

Allied Integrated was engaged by Burton Contractors to deliver comprehensive Traffic Management and Civil Construction services for the Garfield Road East upgrade, a multi-site project undertaken for Transport for NSW (TfNSW).

The scope encompassed a broad range of civil works including footpaths, median islands, kerbs, gutters, pram ramps, stormwater culverts and swales, safety bollards, bus stop upgrades, signage, and landscaping, all delivered within a live traffic environment.

— Our Approach

Traffic Management

Allied provided end-to-end traffic management solutions across the full project scope. This included the preparation, procurement, and lodgement of all required ROL and TGS documentation with TMC and TfNSW. Delivery spanned both day and night shift operations, with seamless coordination between crews to maintain program continuity. Traffic control measures ranged from basic pedestrian and shoulder closures through to complex lane merges and stop/slow operations in live traffic environments. Allied’s proactive planning, adaptability, and strong safety culture ensured minimal disruption to road users while maintaining full compliance with stakeholder requirements.

Civil Construction

Allied Civil was responsible for the delivery of key concrete infrastructure elements, including kerb and gutter, pram ramps, raised median islands, shared pathways, and bus bay construction. Works were executed across four distinct sites, each with varying constraints and staging requirements. Through effective planning and consistent quality control, Allied successfully delivered all works in accordance with TfNSW specifications.
